Asteroid Fly by Today, February 17th and FREE Asteriod / Atomic Bomb Calculator

As predicted on Feb 16, we did have a fairly unusual large earthquake, in a zone not chock full of earthquakes normally.    Not the ring of fire anyway.

Febrauary 16, 2014----An asteroid the size of three football fields is set to make a close brush of Earth on Monday, and you can watch the flyby in a live webcast.

Near-Earth asteroid 2000 EM26 poses no threat of actually hitting the planet, but the online Slooh Space Camera will track the asteroid as it passes by Earth on Monday. The live Slooh webcast will start at 9 p.m. EST (0200 Feb. 18 GMT), and you can also watch the webcast directly through the Slooh website.

This is a big one, 880 feet across.    It won't be that close, but let's see if in the "electric universe" or "GUT soup" models, if we get some earthquakes or volcanoes going off.
