I duplicated Mr Nichols recent values by extracting EPA data for 20160731 to 20160813
for the first 5 in his post,
the date time stamp is the ending of the measurement cycle UTC zone
added gamma ranges 4 and 5
ME: Portland; 1838; found on 2016-08-01 10:38:27
CO: Colorado Springs; 1658 ( not found, value found by adding gamma 4,5,8 ) on 2016-08-13 13:23:20
when adding only g4,5 the peak is 1533 on 2016-08-03 13:34:33
IL: Champaign; 1573; found on 2016-08-11 11:38:15
AR: Little Rock; 1571; found on 2016-08-07 22:55:04
NM: Navaho Lake; 1564; found on 2016-08-04 02:32:34
EPA gamma energy ranges ( keV )
2 100-200
3 200-400
4 400-600
5 600-800
6 800-1000
7 1000-1400
8 1400-1800
9 1800-2200
10 2200-2800 ( no longer available )
So range 5 is Cesium137 ( 662 keV ) and Cesium 134 ( 604 keV and 795 keV )
I don't know what range 4 is.
Others I know of
I131 is at 190 keV (range 2 )
Co60 is at 1170 keV and 1330 keV ( range 7 )
K40 is at 1460 keV ( range 8 )
WHAT EVER YOU DECIDE TO DO, MAKE SURE IT MAKES YOU HAPPY.
